The
Remount Ranch is located in the mountains between
Cheyenne and Laramie Wyoming. It was established
in 1886 by an English couple who raised horses for
the cavalry. Mary O'Hara wrote "My Friend Flicka" here.
Robert R. Larsen, A.I.A. was the project architect responsible for adding a new
office, guest bedroom, and exercise room as well as for the extensive remodeling
of this historic structure.
Field stone was collected on the site for the masonry walls which match the original.
Textured stucco was used on interior walls along with rustic wood beams, and
natural hued ceramic tiles to respectfully blend with the original ambience. |
